Jim Bailey |

|
Jim Bailey is a retired Anchorage School District educator who was a teacher, assistant principal, and principal for 32 years. His last school was West High School where he was principal from 2002 - 2006 and assistant principal from 1990 - 1998. Jim is involved in the community and is a director on the Bridgebuilders Board and is also involved with Anchorage Museum on the Building Committee. He is interested in being involved in the community and helping it be a better place for our young people. Jim and his wife Maria live in Sand Lake and love Anchorage very much. |

John Dittrich is the General Manager of Bethel Services, Inc.
Prior positions
include General Manager of Arctic Structures, CFO for Ukpeagvik Inupiat
Corporation, and VP of Finance for ASRC Energy Services. In addition to his newly elected role
as Treasurer of the Friends of the Campbell Creek Science Center, John also
serves in the Treasurer position on the boards of both Hope Community
Resources and the Petroleum Club of Anchorage. He was born and raised in
Anchorage, and currently resides in close proximity to the Campbell Tract
where he and his family enjoy the many benefits of the Science Center and
surrounding area. |

Ed
Kamienski |

Ed Kamienski has been a frequent user of the BLM's Campbell Tract and the adjacent MOA Far North Bicentennial Park lands for over a decade. Ed has been a volunteer on projects and committees with the BLM, MOA, Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol, Arctic Bicycle Club, the Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage, and the Single Track Advocates. In his professional life he is a Registered Professional Engineer, US Green Building Council LEED(r) Accredited Professional, and advocate of green building and sustainability. |

John Lewis has maintained a successful career in the oilfield since 1974 in disciplines ranging from Drilling to Executive Management. His sphere of operations has grown to include locations around the world. With extensive experience over the last twenty years in business development, John is a Registered PMP and an active member of the Alaska Chapter of the American Association of Drilling Engineers and the Alaska Support Industry Alliance. He is also on the advisory council to the University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Engineering and Mines. |

Enid Silverstein is the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instructional Support in the Anchorage School District. Enid was a former principal of Rogers Park Elementary School and before that worked as a teacher and principal in both Arizona and Ohio. Enid is an avid runner and loves exploring the trails of Campbell Tract. |

Well known in Alaska as the spokesperson for three Federal agencies, Joette Storm helped establish Alaska Outdoor Week, the precursor program of the Science Center. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Society's College of Fellows and has volunteered for various community organizations, including Girl Scouts, the Federation of Community Councils, League of Women Voters, and Hospice. |

Frank von Hippel |

Frank von Hippel is an Associate Professor of biological sciences at the University of Alaska Anchorage where he teaches courses in ecology, conservation biology, animal behavior and evolution. A lifelong Alaskan and avid outdoorsman, Frank has enjoyed the Campbell Tract for many years. He serves on the Friends board in order to increase access to outdoor science education for Alaskan children. |
